Hell, no, I'm not afraid to take screen captures and post them. Northstar says it will be a good day, so here's to hoping it will be... ;)
Since I won't be here to wish you all a Happy Love Day, I'll share this photo of the flowers on our dining room table. (the table is clear of clutter, for once. victory!) I am sad to be leaving them for four days, and hope they'll still be fresh when we get back. The hyacinths smell divine. $5.99 for that whole shibang at Trader Joe's, people. Take advantage if you can!

Snifffff!
Oh, and here's some documentation of my hypocrisy... I did, in fact, make a little love-day card for my Mister. No big deal, nothing materialistic, just a sweet note inside, telling him how much I love him. Yeah, yeah... I guess when it comes right down to it, I'm a sentimental softie.

It's also a tiny bit preemptive. I'd be lying if I said it wasn't. Like, what if he surprises me with something, and I don't have anything to give him in return? How embarrassing would that be. Is it bad to even have that thought process? It is with Deep Thoughts like these with which I leave you today.
Have a great weekend, everyone. I hope you all have a nice Love Day, no matter how you celebrate it, if at all. Tell someone you care about that you love them, even if it's a friend. :)
xoxo!

Love the card!!! However did you make that?! A tutorial please!
Nice vase - I have the same one on my table too!
I am jealous of your Aalto vase. I haven't gotten one yet b/c I was unsure how it would look with flowers... but, now I know. :)
Beautiful! Hyacinths smell so gorgeous. Happy V-day to you and future hubs!
Hope you had a great time in Tahoe!
So just thinking. (re previous blog and wedding dresses) does this come too late?
In Cape Town, South Africa, when you can't afford the Vera Wang you settle for a uniquely designed, perfectly fitted creation by a lesser known label (read young designer) is that an option in San Fran?
Sorry if stating obvious, but isn't it so much better to be the only one in the planisphere with a dress especially if it is under $1 000 ? Just a thought

On more thing, you can get way creative with fabrics. Saw a dress on a lifestyle tele programme (yes that is the Eng spelling ;0 ) recently: the bride used an elaborate embroidered TABLE CLOTH! (table cloth, I'm serious) as the fabric for her dress. It cost almost nothing and she was exquisite! all you need is someone with a bit of vision and a wand in the shape of a needle and thread and you are the most beautiful bride in a table cloth anyone has ever seen! All the best for the wedding xxx
Nice vase - I have the same one on my table too!
