Thoughts? Do I need a necklace with this? Or is that just going overboard? And no, I don't have any dangly earrings, unfortunately. :(

We usually spend our Friday/weekend evenings centered around one of these, among other things:

Starting tonight, I'm swearing off alcohol (and I hope my fiance is with me, but I haven't asked him yet. Haha! How's that for a Friday evening surprise) until we leave for Denmark on the 22nd. There are two reasons for this:

1. Calories. Sorry, alchie, but you are fattening. Get offa my hips! I'll be exposed to enough fattening food without adding you to the mix.

2. I know that I will consume so much alcohol while in the Great White North, I feel like I have to restrain myself before then! There's Christmas, the fiance's 30th birthday party with his family, the fiance's 3oth birthday party with his friends, and New Year's. I'm saving my liver now so I can ruin it in Denmark. ;)

Knowing about all the holiday parties coming up before then, I just think I'd rather be the DD instead of that girl telling everyone she loves them and thinks they're great. Does that make sense? Or am I the only one speaking from experience here?

And come on, this is only for a little less than three weeks. I can do it! Right?

Random Mumblings from Yours Truly

Oh hello again, Ms. Mer here. So, I bought a cute in-store only (I think) dress on-sale last week, it was that same Dream wool blend material as the post below but in black, with a turtleneck and pockets. Very cute.

I am unable to post photos, however, because my fiance took the ("our," i.e. MINE) camera on a business trip and won't be back until Thursday. Oh and can I just mention that this trip is an "operational diagnostics" trip to the Cayman Islands? Oh, yes. Yours truly is bitter, very bitter. And jealous. Oh, and bitter. And cold. Oh wait I think I need to go turn the heater on, brb.

Posts will be more or less sporadic until the holiday season is over, due to massive amounts of holiday work (I feel like a holiday elf! Whee!) and wedding stationery! Which I need to get back to right about now... I can say I am looking forward to posting my advances in Ornamental Penmanship very soon. I am rather proud of myself. ;) The envelopes arrive tomorrow!
